I grew up in a traditional environment where if you decided to go to university, it would be a doctor, lawyer, or banker. Not a single person around me seemed imaginative, including my Guidance Counselors, as creative thinkers like myself were deemed illogical and often misunderstood. Creative thinkers are logical thinkers. This was always my belief, and the constant challenge I faced was to remain authentic to myself.

The desire to improve happens when the people you work with and the company you work for bring authenticity to the workplace. Great partnerships and valuable information come from people 'who know what they know,' including me, and not have an ego about it. Let's be clear. Not everyone is perfect at doing everything. So, I continue to learn. I never stop learning.
